Hi Micky, nice example. I understood the concept better than from codeplex web site lol.
I am trying to achieve something and wonder if you have any clue. I would like to load at runtime both the model and the viewmodel, not necessary following CM's naming conventions.

I have tried to implement the IViewAware as you sugessted but it doesn't work. Do you have any sort of example for this'

Thanks in advance. Cheers.

@Nitin: Thank you for your comment.
CM knows what View to pickup for your ViewModel by replacing the word "ViewModel" with "View" in the class name and namespace.

In my GuiDesigner example, the view model class is defined as:
ComposableApp.GuiDesigner.ViewModels.GuiDesignerViewModel
So CM will search for
ComposableApp.GuiDesigner.Views.GuiDesignerView

Just a small tip: you can create different Views for the same ViewModel by using the "Context" property. I hope to have the time to blog about it soon.

For any further question, don't hesitate to leave a reply.

Good Article. Just one OOTB small question..In your first image, you've placed views & viewModel in different folders. Does CM automatically find the view in vie folder and attach it to corresponding viewmodel. I tried this and I got error. Can you explain how this happen?

Nice example - I am new to Caliburn and I am wondering how to compose the application in a more static way. e.g. The main window shows a Grid which holds three controls which are bound to ViewModels. I would like to use caliburn but I am not sure how to construct the UI with the ViewModel first approach. An example would be great. Thx, J
